walshie 2,804
I know this story is about 20 years old, but I only just read it. It's about a toad that was found in a garden in Canada. It seemed to have no eyes, so the kids that found it brought it in the house for their Dad to take photos. Apparently it acted blind until it opened its mouth then "it seemed aware of its surroundings." Here's why. Would totally freak me out. Nature can be very weird. walshie 2,804
Is it another toad its eaten ? No. It's some sort of mutation where its eyes grew down inside its mouth instead of up on its head. http://www.sciencealert.com/this-frog-was-born-with-eyes-in-the-roof-of-its-mouth
